Note 3 Has Arrived!

 Galxy Note3
The wait is over. So, was it worth it? The Note 3 has a 1080p 5.7 inch display, larger 3,200 mAh battery, 3 GB RAM, 32/64 GB Storage, 13 Megapixel camera, UHD (4K) video capture, Stereo FM radio ??? (maybe...it only states that at the source, but this is usually removed from the US variants), Snapdragon 800 Quadcore CPU/ Exynos Octa-core, host of new S-Pen features, IR sensor, USB 3.0 (I saw this stated somewhere, but is of now unconfirmed), and a pleather back cover (it's plastic, but at least it's not so slippery).

It hits US shores September 25th.  The software additions are now more useful. Samsung seemed to realize people like the ability to multitask on a big screen. Read on to find out more about the software that really stood out.

  1. Muti-Window- Now you can have 2 instances of the same app open and can even drag-and-drop content from one window to the next.
  2. Note Searching- When you create a note you can translate the information into other apps. Let say you scribble down contact information. You can now directly migrate that to a new contact. You can also dial numbers you scribbled down and so on...
  3. Knox- So security is the new thing for Android phones (ha ha) and Samsung is trying to lead the pack. This software will allow you to control which apps have access to certain information you store on the phone. Might come in handy with Big Brother always watching.
  4. Pop-Up Window- This isn't what it's called anymore (Box is actually the name), but instead of just 2 apps (browser and video) know you have a host of apps to choose from to float over everything else.  The window sizing is also up to you, since you actually draw it on the screen. Once the window is created and the app chosen, it can be minimized and accessed very easily. This can be done with numerous apps, so you can multi-task your heart out.
The question comes to mind: "When will Note II owners see these software updates?...actually Will Note II owners see these software updates?"

I know that the Note 3 has the addition of 3 GB of RAM, but the Note II should be able to run most of this software. It might just not be as quick or fluid.  And about that back...I don't mind the fake stitching.  It actually gives the phone some more flare.

So are you getting a Note 3? I know I am. Just wondering if the US will see that 64 GB model. Also, knowing the price couldn't hurt.
